Religious Letterboxd User, #1 Toni Collette Fan, Horror Movie Fanatic. This isn't two truths and a lie- these are all accurate facts about me. Ever since childhood I've been obsessed with storytelling. This first presented itself through reading; I was a COMPLETE bookworm. Quickly after this I found the joy of movies and the theatre. Performance eclipsed everything else in my life and it became clear that I HAD to find a way to be an actor, even small scale. That's when I wormed my way into local community theatre, and I never looked back. I truly find the art of sharing these stories to be the most cathartic, meaningful, and important part of my life.  I have always felt completely confident and cemented in the fact that it is my purpose. I have committed my life to finding a way to share meaningful art and performance. After participating in as much theatre as physically possible in high school, I moved to New York to train with some of the best teachers in the world at CAP 21 Conservatory. My time in school only strengthened my desire to dig into the challenging work of acting. I have always identified with the way Judi Dench talks about balance of lifestyle and work; "I think you should take your job seriously, but not yourself - that is the best combination." This is the philosophy I carry with me throughout every facet of my life; goofiness and genuine dedication can exist together, and that is the beauty of the life I have built for myself. How lucky am I to be able to be everything I want to be?
